so much fun, i can’t stand it!

have you guys heard of Polyvore?

for the longest time, i noticed these really cool fashion collages on other blogs and wondered how they were made. i felt like everyone had the inside scoop on some awesome software or application i didn’t know about. then one day last summer, i was flipping through the pages of a magazine and voila’, there it was! a write-up on one of the creators of Polyvore.com. i immediately recognized the whoppingly-chic fashion collage hovering above the article and quickly saved the website’s name in my phone. a few days later, i checked out the site & i’m not embarrassed to admit i’ve spent countless hours on it ever since. seriously, it’s the funnest way to kill time. for us 80’s kids, it’s like fashion plates on steroids! words don’t describe it. you just have to check it out, if you haven’t already.

side-note admission: my sister was beyond addicted to f.p. back in the day, she’d spend hours sitting at our dining room table – those pink clickety-clack plates and colored pencils everywhere.

   Yes, I’ve heard of it but there are just so many sites to keep up with that I haven’t really experimented with Polyvore. I may have to get an account soon!

     I know, WAY TOO MANY sites not nearly enough time right? Try it out next time you’re have a spare moment & just want to relax, no real work required. : )
