Since posting my November Birchbox contents, I decided why not include Ipsy’s November goodie bag as well.
Before I get to the good stuff, I came across some negative reviews about Birchbox the other day. Basically, the blogger was not happy with the samples included with Birchbox compared to the full size variety included with some other beauty clubs. I certainly understand their point but I would stress that you have to keep price points in mind.
I like the fact clubs like Birchbox & Ipsy allow you to subscribe for $10 per month and receive a variety of items. Think about how far $10 will take you in the beauty aisles of Ulta or Sephora…..mmmm yea, not very far at all. If you can spend $20+ on several beauty clubs each month, there are tons of options available but if you’re a little less of a PJ (product junkie) or simply don’t want to fork out $200+ annually on beauty clubs, these two are your better options since not too many clubs offer their service at such a low price.
Now on to the good stuff…..
November’s Ipsy bag contained some really nice selections..
Ipsy includes a different cosmetic bag each month. It’s a nice size for storing beauty necessities for a night out.
Nailtini Polish in Millionaire (retails for $13)
Starlet Cosmetics Eye Pencil in Black (retails for $11)
Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel (retails for $18)
bareMinerals (travel size) Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss (retails for $10)
Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow by theBalm (part of the Meet Matt(e) Palette (retails for $34.50)
So there you have it… think I’ll be keeping all of this month’s items for myself.. really love the colors as they’re perfect for winter…

I canceled my birchbox subbie. It just started to suck really badly. But I LOVE Ipsy!! Their bags are so awesome!
I’m a fan of Ipsy too… I’m going to start paying more attention to my Birchbox contents to see if I’m really enjoying them or just the price. I know I definitely like Ipsy more for now. : )
