December’s Birchbox is here!

December really needs to pump the brakes, it’s flying by far too fast. I haven’t even bothered heading out to do any shopping yet, fortunately I have a pretty short list this year. It felt like Christmas came early when I received both beauty club deliveries this week, (yay!) so let’s dive into Birchbox, shall we?

Love the fancy box. So ready for gift giving, all it needs is some ribbon & a bow.

They even added a cute gift-tag to be used for a special gift.

Benefit’s It’s Potent! Eye Cream is so adorable in this tiny box. It’s infused with peptides to brighten & fade dark circles, we shall see.

Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique – Protect Leave-In Cream:

I loved Kerastase products back when my hair was relaxed but now that I’m natural, I avoid silicones so I’ll have to pass on this leave-in cream, though I’m sure it’s very effective.

Juicy Couture Fragrance:

This is Juicy’s signature fragrance. It’s a blend of sweet & floral notes. I really love Viva la Juicy La Fleur for its fresh, light scent but this one is a little too sweet and floral for my liking.

ModelCo: SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss in Striptease

How convenient is the built-in mirror on the side? It made for an easy application while sitting in my dimly lit living room. The shade is a shimmery pink so it just adds a hint of color to my lips. Smells great, like a sugary treat but doesn’t taste like one. When I wiped it off, my lips felt softer.

Birchbox wants its members to look great for the New Year so they kindly included a $50 credit for Rent The Runway. Now, I’ve never rented from them before but I have visited the site & know they carry some beautiful couture dresses and accessories. Why spend a million bucks when you can look like one for far less… whoever thought of that idea = genius.

Not bad for $10 huh?

But thee BEST part of all is the Dark Chocolate Peppermint Holiday Fortune Cookie from Emily’s.

Can’t wait to crack it open & read my fortune, I love fortune cookies & I have a major addiction to chocolate, so what’s better than a chocolate fortune cookie!! Yum.
