Lil fun fact about me… I enjoy blogging & I love everything beauty, especially skincare. I’ve been into skin since before I could remember. I do know it was before I ever had a problem with my own. Puberty was kind to me. My early 20s, not so much.

My love of skincare prompted me to enter beauty school and become a licensed esthetician. It was a major decision for me, having spent 15 years in the corporate world. That’s a long time. But once I decided to take the leap, I also decided to chronicle my experience in a blog. A blog that I started in 2010. A blog where I post less often than this blog. A blog that was mostly for me to remember the experience and not for gaining subscribers or anything serious. And yet it’s recently brought me some press attention, which I find really surprising considering. So anyway, it’s early and I don’t know where any of this will lead but I’m always grateful and open to new opportunities.

That blog has me enabled me to partner with an award-winning spa to introduce their homemade DIY recipes. It fits in perfectly with my own beauty beliefs because I love spas & especially DIY beauty treatments.
